One win and four defeats for the Saturday League sides on a miserably damp afternoon. Another good win for the Women & Girls XI. The 1st XI entertained Ingatestone 1st XI who batted first and scored 227-7, Matt Gilmore (3-19) and Jason Ox (3-59) leading the bowling but the team conceded 47 extras – mainly wides.

The 1st XI start with a win against Noak Hill in the first friendly match of the season (Sat. 12th April). They scored 214-7 in their 40 overs in an innings which was dominated by Dan Frost with exactly 100. Noak Hill were restricted to 155-9 in reply by some tight bowling with Mike Walsh
