Although the season is still in its early stages, we’re already looking ahead to one of the standout highlights in the club calendar — our Annual Awards Night.
This year, we’re mixing things up! After two great years at Saxon Hall, we’re excited to announce that our 2025 event will be held at the Doug Insole Pavilion, thanks to a fantastic partnership with Essex County Cricket Club.
New date, new venue
In response to feedback from members who found Friday evenings difficult, we’ve shifted the event to a Saturday night (11th October 2025) — making it easier for more of you to attend and celebrate with us.
Getting there
We know Essex CCC is a change of scene, so to help make the evening as easy and enjoyable as possible, we’re currently exploring transport options from Rayleigh.
This may include a coach or a series of mini-vans, depending on interest, with return travel arranged to get everyone to and from the venue safely and stress-free. We also have a selection of car parking spaces, free of charge, compliments of Essex CCC.
More details will follow once we’ve confirmed logistics — but for now, if you’re likely to want a spot on club transport, please keep it in mind when planning your evening.

We’ve listened carefully to feedback from the last two events, and we’re making a few changes to help make the night even more enjoyable:
Tickets
Ticket pricing is still being finalised, but we expect the cost to be no more than £40 per person, offering great value for a brilliant night out in a superb venue.
