Annual presidents day, this year honoring John Monk. John was a long-standing member of Rayleigh CC, racking up a remarkable 67-years playing for the club (serving as club president for 16 years). Sadly, John passed away in 2002 (20 years ago) and it’s therefore fitting that Presidents Day this year will be played in his memory. The Presidents XI is being skippered by current President, Brad Walker and includes a number of players who played cricket with John in the past. The Club XI is being captained by Tom Peppiatt.
Bacon rolls will be available before the match, with catering being provided throughout the day – including hot dogs, burgers, chicken shish, lamb koftas, dirty fries and veggie options. Players will be provided with breakfast, lunch and dinner – courtesy of NP Consulting (sponsors of Presidents Week).

The under 13 and under 11 teams take part in a fun filled morning, hoping to beat their respective parents/carers in T20 matches!
All members are encouraged to attend these events throughout the week. Presidents week is a celebration of everything Rayleigh Cricket Club and offers the opportunity to look back at the clubs history and look forward to future seasons. We hope to see as many members throughout the week as possible.
A big thank you to all members of the club who are helping make this years presidents week a success!
