On Sunday, the Club organised a Festival of Women and Girls cricket with teams from Bentley, Great Waltham, Old Chelmsfordians and two from Rayleigh taking part in an eight a side competition. On Sunday the Under13A team played in a South Essex District semi-final against Basildon Under 13s and batting first scored 101. Basildon were 89-7 at the end of the 17th over when a very heavy downpour caused the teams to leave the field. The teams were unable to agree on a resumption of the game

President\’s Day saw six 6-a-side teams from the Club competing in a Charity event, which raised £525 for Fair Havens Hospices. This Saturday (9th April) for U9s, U11s, and U13s and Monday (11th April) for U15s will be our last indoor training sessions at Fitzwimarc. Starting 16th April the Colts training sessions will be as follows: U9s Saturdays  9am till 10am U11s Saturdays 9.30am till 11.30am U13s Saturdays 9.30am till 11.30am U15s Saturdays 9.30am till 11.30am

Congratulations to Nathan Healey and Adam Dudmish who have just passed their Assistant Coaches Course (UKCC 1). They now plan on helping develop the colts section and their assistance will be really appreciated.
