Essex CCC are running an intermediate umpiring course on Thursday 13th March between 19:00 and 21:00 at Hadleigh & Thundersley Cricket Club.
The course is free and covers:
- Signalling
- Umpire’s equipment
- ECD directives (age-related restrictions)
- No balls
- Wides
- Scoring runs
- Main method of dismissal
- Counting balls in the over and signals to colleagues
It is suitable for anyone aged 13+ who is interested in knowing more about umpiring, those who may have to do a short umpiring stint when they are playing and it makes a good refresher for people who have gained an ECB qualification or are returning to umpiring after a break.
