Playing their final pre season friendly at Bentley the 1st XI batted first and scored 165-8, Danny White top scoring with 74. Bentley passed this total with the loss of 5 wickets, Mike Law taking 3-36.

The 2nd XI visited Rainham 1st XI and batting first scored 190, (Matt Gilmore 43 and Liam Druce 30). They then bowled Rainham out for 145, Shreeraj taking 3-12 and George Barker 3-4.

The 3rd XI travelled to Eastwood 2nd XI , who batted first and 191-6, Tony Catling 2-5. In reply the 3rd XI were all out for 128 only Phil Wolff (44) troubling the scorers.

In a 40 overs match the 4th XI entertained Rettendon 2nd XI who batted first scoring 175-9, despite Gary Bush taking 6 for 31. In reply Rayleigh scored 152-7, Brad Walker (43) leading the scoring.

The 5th XI visited Benfleet 3rd XI and were bowled for 98, Murray Hall scoring 50. Benfleet passed this total for the loss of 2 wickets.

The Sunday XI played Wickford in a Warsop Sunday League limited overs game and batting first scored 154 all out, Liam Druce 56 and Neil Dobson 34 leading the scoring. Wickford finished on 154- to tie the game, with Matt Gilmore taking 2-16 off 8 overs and Ian Bryant 2-18 also off 8 overs.
