A very disappointing week for the Club as all six Saturday league sides lost.
T Rippon Mid Essex Premier Division. The 1st XI entertained Old Chelmsfordians 1st XI and batting first were bowled out for 241, Skipper Jason Ox (90) leading the scoring supported by Will Wheeler (33), Toby Turner (28) and Luke Sullivan (27). Hopes that this would be a defendable score quickly disappeared as the visitors made a very rapid start to their innings and the visitors passed their target in the 38th over for the loss of seven wickets, Ian Turnbull taking 2-37 and Ian Bryant 2-57.
T Rippon Mid Essex League Division 1. The 2nd XI went to Great Waltham 1st XI and batting first were bowled out for 143 in the 45th over, Chris Frost (56) and Steven Lynch (41). This target was far too low and the visitors won the game in the 16th over for the loss of 2 wickets, Dan Frost taking 2-36.
T Rippon Mid Essex League Division 5. High flying Rayne 1st XI were the visitors to the 3rd XI and in the only close game of the day. Rayleigh batted first and scored 208 all out in the 45th over, Mark Bailey (46) and Kalpesh Patel (44). The visitors just managed to pass their target in the final over for the loss of 8 wickets, Jack Nolde taking 4-30.

T Rippon Mid Essex League Division 8. A very depleted 5th XI went to Broomhills to play Rankins 2nd XI who by chance were fielding their strongest side of the season so far. T Rippon Mid Essex League Division 10. The 6th XI hosted Great Waltham 3rd XI and batting first scored 179 all out in the 39th over, Richard Verrinder (71) and Jack Andrews (20) leading the scoring. The visitors knocked off the runs in the 33rd over for the loss of 2 wickets.
