About Rayleigh
Cricket Club

the home of cricket in rayleigh
for over a century

Rayleigh Cricket Club has been at the heart of the local community for over a century. Founded in 1902, the club has made its home at Rawreth Lane – just outside Rayleigh, Essex. As the largest cricket club in the area, we proudly field over fifteen teams – including six Saturday league sides, a thriving youth setup, and a dedicated Women’s section.

On the pitch, our proudest moments include lifting the Mid Essex League Premier Division trophy in 2021, and an unforgettable 2012 season that saw every single one our Saturday league teams gain promotion.

Our young players are the club’s future. We are incredibly proud to have over 100 boys and girls playing at Rawreth Lane. With such a diverse array of squads, we provide fantastic cricketing opportunities for everyone, regardless of age, gender, or ability.
