After a fantastic season full of cricket, it’s time to give back and help support the club by ensuring the grounds are well-maintained for the months ahead. We’re calling on all club members to lend a hand for a working morning next Saturday 12th October, from 9 am to 12 pm.
Jobs for the Day:
- Covers: Putting away all covers and attached hoses for storage
- Boundary Nets: Maintenance, storage and tidying of the nets around the ground
- Sightscreens: Moving and storing the sightscreens as required
- Wooden Furniture: Returning all wooden furniture to storage areas
- Old Pavilion: A thorough clean-up, including moving the scoreboard
- Third Pitch Hut: Tidying and organising the storage container for the third-ground
- Recycling: Collecting bottles and cans and taking them to recycling bins
- Rattan Furniture: Storing for safe keeping during the off-season
- Scorebox: Hoover and clean up the scorebox on the main ground
- Main Pavilion: Deep clean and removing rubbish / clutter
