Brad Walker is a true Club legend, having represented Rayleigh CC since 1979. As one of our longest-serving active players, his immense dedication to the Club was formally recognised with Life Membership. Brad’s off-pitch contributions are just as vital as his on-pitch achievements; from his ongoing work maintaining the grounds to playing a pivotal role in the purchase of the New Ground at Rawreth Lane in the early 2000s. On the pitch, his statistics since 1995 are nothing short of astonishing: over 13,000 runs, including a century and more than 50 half-centuries. Also known for a bowling style infamous for its flight and guile, Brad continues to lead from the front as the Veterans’ Team Captain while still regularly turning out for our middle league XIs.
