A Night to Remember: Rayleigh CC Awards 2026

On Saturday 10th October, a hundred members, parents, partners and sponsors joined us at Essex CCC for the Rayleigh CC Awards 2026, recognising the players and volunteers who shaped our year at Rawreth Lane.

It was a season that came down to the finest of margins. The 1st XI ended their campaign just a point short of promotion, while across our six league sides, Sunday, vets, women’s and colts teams there were standout contributions at at every level.

The evening also saw the launch of the 2026 Season Review – our full record of the year in print, with copies handed out to everyone on the night. If you couldn’t attend the night and would like a copy of the review posted to you, click here.

We also held a raffle and auction, hosted by Jon Cook. Nearly all items were sold, making well over £1,000 for the club and JC’s charity. Thank you to everyone who came along and to all who made this season possible. The full list of award winners is below.

Earlier in the month, our youth teams had their own awards day at Rawreth Lane. Thanks to our coaches and volunteers, the youth set-up finished the season on a high with a day of cricket, activities, food and awards.

Thank you to our coaching staff, volunteers and parents for your incredible support this year. Special thanks to our Official Youth Sponsors, BPSL, for providing extra opportunities for our young people again this year.

Finally, a huge thank you goes to Andrew Barker, Youth Manager, for his continued hard work and persistence in ensuring we have a set-up that allows opportunities and support for our younger members.
