RCC are looking to organise a summer race day with return coach transport laid on from Rayleigh (via a pub in Newmarket prior to the racing!). The date is Thursday 26th June, for an afternoon of flat racing on the Rowley Mile course. Players and partners welcome, we have a maximum of 37 places, offered on a first come first served basis. Initially we are looking for expressions of interest from members, so that we can secure tickets and transport and will allocate spaces accordingly.
The price will be approx. £35 to 40 per person, which includes general admission, offering spectacular views of the racecourse and parade ring. Food and drink will be available from a range of concessions within the course.
The “party” coach will leave at 10am from a central point in Rayleigh, arriving in Newmarket (via a pub) at approx. 1pm (racing starting at 2:20pm) with the return transport looking to leave at 6/6:30pm.
