Four wins and two defeats for the Saturday League sides.
T Rippon Mid Essex Premier Division. The 1st XI travelled to Great Baddow 1st XI and elected to bat. At 58-4 this did not bode well for the rest of the innings. However, Jon Cook (69) and Under 15 Jess Walker (31) making his debut for the 1st XI put on 88 for the 5th wicket and supported by Matt Lennox 40* and the rest of the tail chipping in Rayleigh finished on 247 all out in the 45th over. The hosts were always behind the required run rate and they were bowled out for 137 in the 40th over, Ian Bryant 3-20, Luke Sullivan 2-25 and Ian Turnbull 2-30 being the pick of the bowlers.
