Three wins and two defeats for the Saturday League teams and another convincing win for the Women & Girls XI.
The 1st XI friendly v Old Brentwoods was cancelled as not enough players wanted to play a friendly game, the League game having been cancelled because Chignal have withdrawn from the League.
The 2nd XI hosted Eastwood 1st XI and batting first totalled 244-9, Nick Gosling (65) and Jason Ox (52) leading the scoring. In a close finish the visitors fell short by 9 runs, Trevor Nunn taking 5-44 and Jason Ox 2-39
The 3rd XI entertained Havering-atte-Bower 2nd XI and bowled them out for 106, Aaron Acraman taking 4-23 and James Wratten 3-19. Luke Keeley (50*) led the 3rd to a 6 wicket victory.
The 4th XI visited Eastwood 2nd and batting first scored 155-8, Richard Mantell (38) top scoring. Eastwood passed this total for the loss of three wickets.
The 5th XI alsotravelled to Eastwood to play their 4th XI and batting first totalled 207-9, Tony Catling (35). Eastwood were bowled out for 93 to give the visitors victory by 114 runs.
The 6th XI played a very youthful Old Chelmsfordians 4th XI at Rawreth Lane. Against some accurate bowling and excellent fielding Rayleigh scored slowly but Chris Grob (55) and Chris Slough (47) put on 99 for the first wicket and some late hitting took the score to 165-5. Wickets fell quite regularly in OCs replay but skipper Dave Grainger (54*) steered them to victory by 4 wickets in the 44th over. Neville Dunn (3-13 of 12 overs and Chris Slough (2-24) were the pick of the bowlers and Tom Roberts (1-36) bowled well without luck in his first game for the Club.
The 7th XI travelled to Barkingside Rec to play Ilford Catholics and batting first scored 151-9, Adam Keeley (50*) and Owen Davies (24*) leading the scoring. The home side passed this score for the loss of 3 wickets, Mihir Patel taking 2-15.
The Women & Girls XI entertained Maldon and batting first scored 108-3, Rebecca Holyoak (27*) and Louise Harmsworth (25*). Maldon replied with 47-8, Jodie Billett taking 3-6 and Kelly Castle 3-8 in their 4 overs.

Warsop T20 Midweek League. Batting first Chelmsford scored 129-8, M Clark 50*. In a nail biting finish Rayleigh need 3 off the last ball to win but only managed a single bye to lose by 1 run. Jason Ox 34*.
South Essex District Cricket Board Under 11 East Group. Southend Under 11A scored 248-8 net score 208, Rayleigh Under 11A 282-9 net core 237. Rayleigh win by 29 runs.
South Essex District Cricket Board Under 11 B League. Belhus Under 11B scored 299-4 net score 274, Rayleigh Under 11B 259-5 net score 234. Belhus win by 40 runs.
Under 13 friendly game. Rayleigh scored 76 all out in 12 overs but managed to restict Horndon to 71 in their 20 overs.
