What sort of thing do you hear / say on the cricket field? Some I have heard are:
- one brings two
- doesn\’t like that / you
- a dot ball is a good ball
- unlucky (usually after a delivery has been called wide)
- off stump
- pitch it up / use the pitch
- bowlin\’ Shane (usually to a leg spinner but not always)
- swing and a miss
- catch it (usually to a ball hit in the air nowhere near a fielder)
- long barrier (after any misfield in the deep)
- walk in
- it\’s gone quiet
- quack, quack, quack (when a batter is facing and still on nought).
