The opposition proved too hot for all seven Saturday sides
The1st XI hosted top of the table Bentley 1st XI and were bowled out for 105, which score the visitors passed for the loss of three wickets.
Dropped catches cost the 2nd XI dear at Broomfield 1st XI who batted first and scored 274-5. In reply Rayleigh scored 241-5, Adam Keeley (58), Chris Eldridge (55*) and Nick Gosling (47) top scoring.
The 3rd XI were at home to Navestock and Ardleigh Green 1st XI and batting first were bowled out for 164, Daryl Ox (52). The visitors passed the target for the loss of 4 wickets.
The 4th XI playedSouthend Echo Monarchs (SOSEMT), and batting first were all out for 167, Brad Walker (58). SOSEMT posted 168-6 to win by four wickets.
The 5th XI were at home to Eastwood 3rd XI , who batted first and scored 222-8, Tony Catling taking 4-50. Rayleigh were all out for 152, Luke Keeley (31) and Tom Osbourne (29).
The 6th XI were at Eastwood 4th XI, who batted first and scored 141. Sam Martin taking 5-31. Only Max Jones (23) showed any real resistance to the home side\’s accurate bowling and the 6th XI were all out for 92 to lose by 49 runs.
 
The 7th XI played a friendly against Great Baddow 4th XI and bowled them out for 113 and in reply were themselves bowled out for 96.
On Tuesday, the Under 15As played Leigh U15s who batted first scored 157-4. Rayleigh never looked like chasing this score down and finished on 105-5.
On Wednesday, the Under 15As played Hadleigh & Thundersley U15 and batting first and scored 99-6, Neil Kelly (28) and Conor Slough (21*). Rayleigh made the visitors fight all the way with Conor Slough taking 5-10 and Matt Dobson 1-10 off their 4 overs. However in a tight finish Hadleigh needed one run to win off the last ball and hit a four to win by 3 wickets.
The Under 11As stopped the losing streak against Old Southendians Under 11s, who batted first andscored 258-8 net score 218. Rayleigh scored 331-4 net score 311 to win by 93 runs.

The Under 11Bs played against Pegasus and Corringham Under 11Bs, who batted first and scored 269-5 net score 244, Harry Vallance 2-8 and Oliver Church 1-2 off 2 overs. Rayleigh scored 319-3 ( 304 Net), Jack Andrews and Edward Curtis both scoring 11 not out to win by 60 runs.
